SPELL JARS are psychical containers holding a collection of symbolic ingredients that are combined to focus and amplify a specific magical intention of goal.
Today, I'm sharing a spell jar meant specifically for art productivity.
NEED:
one jar
piece of paper
herbs: rosemary - for mental clarity and focus, cinnamon - for energy and drive, lavender - for calm confidence and creative blocks reduction, peppermint - for inspiration and fresh ideas, chamomile - for easing perfectionism and self-criticism
stones: carnelian – creativity and passion, citrine – motivation and confidence, amethyst – imagination and intuition, Tiger’s Eye – discipline and focus
Himalayan salt
bay leaf (success, completing goals)
clove (motivation and determination)
two ribbons: red and orange (action + creativity)
STEP-BY-STEP:
1. clean the jar, smudge it with sage or palo santo
2. set your intention
3. add herbs, stones, Himalayan salt, clove, bay leaf
4. write a short mantra or affirmation, fold it and place it inside the jar. An example could be: “I create with steady focus. My art flows and reaches completion with joy.”
5. seal the jar, wrap the ribbons around it
6. hold it in your hands and visualize your creative energy flowing into it
7. place the jar somewhere you frequently engage in creative activities
