Character's insecurities

Hello, friends!

Today I'd like to share with you some examples of insecurities that you can give to your characters. A well-written character should have at least one to be realistic (unless you have a specific reason for not including it). Of course, there are hundreds of insecurities out there, my list only contains what came to my mind while thinking about the topic.

Let's get into it!

A FEW WORDS ABOUT INSECURITIES TO CONSIDER

No insecurity is pleasant to have. If we recognize we have it, we can start to work on it, even if it takes us years to change.

Insecurities we don't realize we have will typically be more dangerous, because we don't understand why we react a certain way and can project into others.

If someone's insecurity is commented on by others, it can be a reason for a fight or other unpleasantries.

Insecurities can be a result of trauma, bad previous experiences or low self-esteem and they can vary in intensity from inconvenient to disastrous.
